都有费用的意思，fee 和 charge 怎么区分才合理?

　　存在就是合理的，相近或相似的单词有差别的，如 breath 和 breathe，或 farther 和 futher 等，更不用提那些拼写相差很大的单词或短语了，如 fee 和 charge。

　　可以说 fee 和 charge 是意思上非常接近，我们可以说 admission fee 和 admission charge，因此很多人经常混用它们，然而在用法上 fee 和 charge 还是有差别的。

　　Charge，是可数或不可数名词，它是指东西或服务的价格，如 a 10-cent admission charge，意为“10美分的入场费”等，例如：

　　They fixed my watch free of charge.他们免费修理了我的手表。

　　Is there a charge for children whose height is under 1.2m or do they go free?身高在1.2米以下的孩子要收费还是免费?

　　三、两者的区别

　　1、 从 fee 和 charge 的英文解释来看，它们都指为服务支付的费用。律师和医生等专业人士通常使用 fee 一词来描述他们要求的服务报酬。Charge 听起来不那么正式，通常用于支付服务的小额费用。

　　2、作名词时，charge 还有其他丰富的意思，常见的如“控告，指责，掌管，照管”等，而且有时可以作不可数名词，例如：
