　　中秋节的由来

　　The widely-accepted origin of the festival is the tale of Chang'e, a goddess who lives on the moon and meets with her husband every year on this day.

　　中秋节最广为流传的起源是月仙嫦娥的故事，她在每年的这一天会和丈夫相聚。

　　Every year, Chinese people celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival on the 15th day of the eighth month in the Chinese lunar calendar.

　　每年农历八月十五，中国人都会庆祝中秋节。

　　Extended families get together to see the moon while eating and sharing the moon cakes. These yummy treats symbolise reunion and happiness.
